Alicia Warner DeMont
Alicia DeMont has worked in various roles at Citizen Advocacy since 2002 and is currently the Executive Director. She is deeply committed to the organization’s mission and its role in strengthening the social fabric of our community, helping to make Phoenixville a better place for everyone. Witnessing the profound impact of this work continues to be an honor for her. Alicia holds a B.A. from Guilford College and an M.S. in Nonprofit Management from Eastern University. She has been actively involved in the Phoenixville community her whole life and feels grateful for the connections and positive change fostered through her work. Alicia and her family live in the Phoenixville area.
Christine Brown
Mrs. Christine Brown is currently the Program Director for Citizen Advocacy of Chester County. Prior to her work at this nonprofit, she has been both a band director and a principal. She started her professional career as a music teacher in the Oxford Area School District and has held administrative roles within the School District of Lancaster, the Cocalico School District and the Renaissance Academy. Mrs. Brown received her B.S. in Music Education from West Chester University and her M.A. in Educational Leadership from Wilmington University.
In addition to Citizen Advocacy, Christine is quite active in other area nonprofits. She also maintains a private music studio and is a co-owner of Lighthouse Educational Consultants. Along with her husband Jason and son Nolan, Christine lives in Phoenixville.

Marnie Daniel
Marnie Daniel has been with Citizen Advocacy since 2018, serving in a variety of roles since then. She is currently our Community Coordinator and loves connecting with others. Marnie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Global Studies and Peacebuilding and loves the mission of Citizen Advocacy for its power to transform lives and communities. Marnie lives in Bethlehem PA with her husband Joe and their dog Shivvy.
